When I woke up today and took the dog out for her morning walk it was like walking through fog, but it wasn't fog, it was thick black smoke from the surrounding fires. There was ash raining down and if you didn't know better you would have sworn the fire was a block away and not 10 miles up in the hills.It was another Guild shoot today and I figured since it was at Felicia's house in Hollywood I would be able to escape the smoke and ash... well I was wrong. More fires had started south of Hollywood and combined with the ones raging north of Hollywood there was smoke everywhere. We all did our best and finished shooting. It was another 12-hour day and it was kind of bitter sweet as this was going to be the last day of shooting at Felicia's house as we are starting to wrap up season two of The Guild. Besides the bad air it was another fun shoot.
